You Can Decide
I am not going to weigh in on the pros and cons of smoking. It is a good device for humor, but that’s about as far as my interest goes. My characters will not comment seriously on it and I honestly do not care.
It is interesting to discuss legalization and regulation of marijuana as a social issue though. Debate on the subject has raged on for years. Opponents of legalization claim that it will expand the use of the drug among the under-aged to levels similar to those of the 1970s.
Nobody wants to have the 70s back, but I would wager that a possible few percent more kids doing drugs is worth a stem in the terrible violence that the cartels are perpetuating.
